Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager:
Ensures that all deadlines are met in accordance with the closing dates set by management.
Responsible for timely and accurate maintenance of the general ledger
Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts and completes corresponding reconciliations.
Inventory control - responsible for receiving material into accounting system and maintenance of inventory subledger; prepares purchase orders.
Prepares and communicates certain financial information to chief financial officer for analysis.
Communicates with external auditors and satisfies their requests for information.
Communicates with accounting staff of foreign subsidiaries in order to obtain financial information needed for preparation of monthly consolidating financial statements and to obtain other information; performs currency exchange rate translations.
Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports. Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts and completes corresponding reconciliations.
Qualifications of the Accounting Manager:
Mandarin communication skills would be beneficial but not mandatory
3 or more years of accounting experience in the manufacturing/distribution field
CPA or public accounting experience preferred
QuickBooks and Advanced Excel experienceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
