Packaging Supervisor
Alliance HR is looking for candidates for Packaging Supervisors.
Education and
Experience:
Must hold Bachelors degree or have equivalent work experience.
A minimum of 3 years prior leadership experience
Candidate must have good communication, problem solving and organizational skills; excellent oral and written communication skills
Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
Strong ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task
Flexible work schedule
Training:
Continuous on-the-job training under direct supervision of another trained Supervisor, and/or Manager. Employee will be required to attend a formal leadership training course when available.
Functions and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following
Essential Functions:
Responsible for properly tracking employee's in/out sheets & scans to ensure accurate payroll reporting
Follows instructions provided by the department management
Supervise the development and continuous improvement of the staff
Maintain and evaluate employee records, time edits and the attendance calendar
Prioritize work according to schedule
Assign, supervise, guide, and arrange personnel
Enforces applicable department procedures and work instructions
Assist in managing all activities within department
Performs the administrative functions associated with the departmental requirements
Suggests and helps implement continuous process improvements
Participate in the formation and implementation of department policies and budgets
Assist employees with setting goals and performance standards
Ensure that employees follow procedures and maintain productivity levels
Ensure the staff you are responsible for has the understanding, capability, information and resources to complete their defined responsibilities
Train employees regarding new systems, policies and procedures
Interact with Human Resources department in the hiring, coaching, counseling and termination of the staff
Investigate improvement of productivity through the use of better technique and/or training methods
Maintain a positive and professional relationship with each department within Cinram.
Review, revise and develop departmental procedures in coordination with the ISO Department as needed and assure the current procedures and specifications are in compliance
Complete other duties and special projects as assigned
